Intro: Kaliope

My other DnD character that I actually have things for

This is Kali! You probably read that dumb short I wrote about her beliefs. She basically follows Nocturnal, only slightly reskinned and modified to fit the bill more. She's a sneak thief, and has a bit of a gambling problem, but generally does her best to not harm or hamper others.

Her people live secluded on some islands in the middle of nowhere, but ages ago, they had tunnels built by dwarves for trade, but for the most part now, those tunnels have fallen into disrepair and most have collapsed. She's part of a guild thing(like Assassins Creed level kind of guild thing?), who as a whole generally oppose some force that run the known public. Worshiping any sort of dark god, regardless of how evil/malicious they are, is forbidden and is punishable by death, especially if you're found to by a high ranked follower. Kali used to be a head priestess(she's essentially the "Listener" but not really? There's also not many who follow the Night Mother, anyway.), and ended up getting ratted out, captured, and sentenced to death. The Guild was gonna have none of that shit, broke her out and showed her a secret tunnel that they've had hidden for ages, and only used for emergencies. They gave her some money that they found in the tunnel(which turned out to be absolutly useless on the other side because of how old it is, so nobody trusts it), and some other useful supplies and sent her on her way. Which is how she got to where she is now, for the most part. Wow... Writing that out makes for a very cliche background story. lol. Not changing it, or at least much.

Personality wise, she is hella sarcastic, won't hesitate to call you out on bull shit, but is pretty loving and playful to her friends, anyone else is not as important. She used to gamble a little before she left home, but mostly for fun, once she left though, it kinda fell apart. Don't give her your money, she's terrible with it. She's actually pretty sad and lonely, and misses her friends greatly since she can't go back home, ever, they will kill her, but is slowly coming to terms with it. She loves the Night Mother with pretty much all of her being though, believing "To love the darkness is to love Her, and to be in the shadows is the be held by Her cool embrace." She's pretty chill about pretty much everything(baring some things like murdering the innocent or stealing from already poor people, she won't let that stand), but if you go out of your way to try and make her feel bad about her life choices, it ain't gonna go well. Especially if it has to do with gods, she literally gives no shits who you do or do not follow, and hell, if you wanna tell her about your god, she'll listen intently, always curious as to why other people do what they do, but do not tell her she's bad for following something "dark", do not trying shoving your god down her throat.

Don't make cat puns with her, and definitely don't assume that she //is// a cat just because she looks like one(don't imply she'll get a free ship ride if she hunts your rats, or that she can't swim that river because cat's don't like water). That aside though, she does have some pretty cat like tendencies. She loves to climb, and prefers to be as high from the ground as possible when it is relevant(like at an inn(she like sleeping on top of dressers and shelves), or to get the advantage in a fight(how 'bout a bolt to the top of the head?)). She //does// purr, and generally for the same reasons as normal cats, like when she's happy or really hurt, and can also do it at will, but its generally noticeable within her people if it's forced, or if you know what to listen for.

Physically, she is a little under four feet tall, not including her ears. She's got three fingers and a thumb, and three toes. Her fur is a little on the shorter side, and is colored the same as Chocolate Abyssinian cats. Eyes are a bright copper color, with little flecks of green and gold on them. She has retractable claws. She lost most of her tail to something(haven't figured out what exactly yet), so now it's just a wiggle stump.

A general body shape(not including hands because... I don't know?)
Her priestess garb(now on a mannequin hidden away to honor her leaving)
Her usual gear, mostly cloth and some leather(lots of layers, lol.) She does have a full face cowl and cloak, but I forgot to draw them.
Her underwear
Silly profile shot(mostly to figure out how her face/head works)
Her dagger(maybe? but she has two of the same ones)
Her holy symbol(consists of an old skeleton key, three nightingale feathers, and a seal of the void, all bound together with black twine or maybe leather?)
Seal of the Void(front and back, symbol is made up. It's kinda like those flat buttons with the little loop on the back instead of in the middle.)
